Ingrid Lamia is a writer, an educator and the Head of Grade for Grade 2 at Avenues: The World School in New York City where she writes curriculum, coaches teachers, and meets regularly with parents and fellow school administrators. Before moving to Avenues, Ingrid spent over a decade at P.S. 89 in Battery Park City. In her time there, she taught first and second grades, served as a staff developer and worked with small groups of older elementary school students in math and reading. She holds a MS in early childhood and elementary education from Bank Street College of Education.
