Annie Wang is a freelance dancer and choreographer based in New York. She received her dance education from the Boitsov School of Classical Ballet and from the Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance. She has performed work by Petipa, Graham, Duncan, Bill T. Jones, Jacqulyn Buglisi, Carrie Ellmore-Tallitsch, Elizabeth Boitsov, Cheryl Barnes, Marshall Mitchell, Leyya Tawil of Dance Elixir, Lauren Camp of MADart Productions, Timothy Kochka, and Samantha Carmean. Her choreography has been shown at the Chocolate Factory Theater, the WestFest dance festival, and several EFSD showings at Alvin Ailey and the Martha Graham Center. Most recently Annie completed filming at Gowanus Arts and Production location, the Green Building, for her first dance film, “Echo”, which was funded through a Kickstarter campaign that she launched in December 2013.
